Our School Cross Country

On Tuesday our school had the Cross Country. We ran on the Heritage track. In the 9 year old boys Jarod came 1st, David 2nd and Guy 3rd. In the 9 year girls Grace came 2nd. Leyton was 1st in the 8 year boys, Bradon 2nd and Jake 3rd and in the 8 year girls race Maggie 1st, Kate 2nd and Indica 3rd.

About twice I was bursting for air. - Billy

At the start I thought I was going to come last but I came 2nd and I hope to go to the West Coast Cross country. - Grace

I felt really exhausted at the end. - Jarod

I felt determined to do my best at the start of the race. - Luke

I was coming fifth but I came second. - Bradon
